Thieves have once again made off with some items that were part of a city holiday lighting display in Morehead.
The municipality put up the ‘Holidays in the Park’ display at the Don Greenhill City Park late last month. Three pieces of décor were taken around that time, and now additional decorations and some electrical cords are missing.
In a video posted to Morehead Mayor Laura White-Brown’s Facebook page Tuesday evening, the mayor expressed some frustration over the incidents.
Mayor White-Brown is asking for the stolen decorations to be returned, and also wants individuals to continue enjoying the park display for the rest of the holiday season.
