Parks in Morehead have been closed after officials say residents ignored c-d-c guidelines.
Mayor Laura-White Brown signed an executive order on Sunday closing Don Greenhill City Park and Rodburn Park to the public.
White-Brown says the athletic fields and playground areas have been closed for some time.
The order came after Morehead State University closed athletic facilities, Eagle Lake and the trails around the lake on Friday. Rowan County officials also closed trails at Lockegee Rock last week.
