Mullins is encouraged by the grant announced Wednesday in Morehead. The Appalachian Regional Commission is providing half a million dollars to Morehead State University and the University of Kentucky for the Appalachian Rural Dental Education Program. It will enable additional oral health services in 54 eastern Kentucky counties.
