U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell says Congress should find a way to pay for a three-month extension of benefits for more than a million long-term unemployed Americans. McConnell spoke Tuesday at a press conference in Washington. The six-point four billion dollar measure cleared the Senate yesterday with the support of six Republicans but faces an uncertain future in the GOP controlled House.
