MSU to take part in ‘RecycleMania’

Morehead State University will participate in “RecycleMania,” a nationwide competition against other higher education institutions that encourages recycling with rewarding opportunities for the schools and students through March 31.

MSU students may participate in the “Recyclemania” competition by:

·         Practicing the 3 R’s: Reduce, Reuse & Recycle;

·         Joining the MyActions social media platform at www.campus.myactions.organd start earning personal badges and points for our school. You also can vote for your favorite contest entries by liking the entry;

·         Get Caught Green Handed for a chance to win prizes;

·         Entering the Trash to Treasure photo contest for a chance to win prizes;

·         Entering our 3 R’s video contest for a chance to win prizes;

·         Following on Facebook and Twitter for the latest stats, news and contest entries;

·         Visiting the information table second floor of the Adron Doran University Center on Feb. 4 and 5 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for giveaways and contest information;

·         Attending a showing of the movie “Trashed” in March (date and time to be announced);

·         Encouraging friends and colleagues to do their part and practice the 3 R’s.

Greg Jenkins has been the Operations Director at MSPR since 1999. Greg is a 1996 graduate of Morehead State University with a BME in Music Education and received a Masters of Science in Industrial Technology in 2008. Greg oversees training, scheduling, and evaluation of the student board operator staff, preparation of the daily traffic logs and serves as weekday classical music host. He is also the webmaster of the MSPR website and maintains MSPR's webstreaming and podcasting.
