An eastern Kentucky school superintendent will become the new president of the Kentucky School Boards Association in July. Lawrence County Schools chief Mike Armstrong has been tapped for the post.

He’ll be the first superintendent to lead the KSBA…

The 59-year-old Armstrong is a Louisa native and has been Lawrence County’s superintendent for the past four years.
