Chances are good that when Kentuckians earn a college degree, they stay in the Commonwealth...at least for the first few years. Charles McGrew is executive director of the Kentucky Center for Education and Workforce Statistics.

He testified in Frankfort Thursday before a panel of state lawmakers…

McGrew says people with advanced degrees are more likely to leave Kentucky. He says out-of-state students who graduate from Kentucky universities are also less likely to remain in the Commonwealth to work.
