Fleming County Teacher Wins National Award

A Fleming County High School teacher has won a national award. The honor goes to Brandie Trent who has been named the National Teacher of Excellence by the National Council for Teachers of English.

Trent will receive the award November 23rd in Boston during the Council’s annual conference. She says there really are no secrets to being a good teacher…

Trent is a graduate of Morehead State University. Six months ago, she was named Kentucky English Teacher of the Year.
