The trial of an Elliotville man accused of murdering his daughter's boyfriend began today in Morehead.
61-year old Teddy Johnson, is accused of shooting 24-year old Jimmy Adkins, of Emerson, in august of 2016.
Commonwealth Attorney Ronnie Goldy told the jury of 10 women and 3 men about the incident during his opening statement.
The attorney for Johnson argues that the accused shot Adkins in self-defense. The trial is expected to last 3 days.
