Kevin Deal graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1980, where he was on the wrestling team and in the building trades program. He worked half a day for Plano Masonry his senior year and then went to work full time upon graduation.

Deal started his family with wife Kim in 1982 and his own masonry company in 1983. He played harmonica with Johnny Peebles, Curly Barefoot Miller, and Ed Burleson. He would also sit-in and play harp with his friend Mark David Manders. Mark introduced him to Lloyd Maines in the late 90s and he has been producing his records ever since.

Deal has been balancing family, stonework and music. He is also a member of the Weston Texas Volunteer Fire Department and Weston City Council.

Paul Hitchcock earned his Masters in Communications from Morehead State University and Bachelors in Radio-TV/Psychology from Georgetown College. A veteran broadcaster for more than 40 years and an avid fan of blues, jazz and American roots music. Hitchcock has been with WMKY since 1986 and was named General Manager in 2003. He currently hosts "Muddy Bottom Blues" (Fri., 8pm-9pm), "Nothin' But The Blues" (Sat., 8pm-12am), "Sunday Night Jazz Showcase" and "Live From The Jazz Lounge" (Sun., 8pm-9pm) and "The Golden Age of Radio" (Sun., 2pm-3pm). He also serves as producer for "A Time For Tales" and "The Reader's Notebook."
