In 2017, Nothin’ But The Blues celebrated its 25th anniversary on Morehead State Public Radio (WMKY at 90.3FM).
Nothin’ But The Blues originated in April 1992 as a one-hour program on Friday nights. The program evolved to two hours in 1994 and in 2000, the program expanded to four hours moving to Saturday nights.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary, one album was selected per year as the best of the past twenty-five years.
Criteria was established in the secelction process such as no greatest hits, live albums, tributes, box sets, soundtracks or re-issues. In addition, there was a limit of just one album per artist.
