Just in time for the holidays, tickets to the Kentucky Arts Council’s Kentucky Crafted: The Market can be purchased online.
“Purchasing tickets to The Market online is the perfect gift for art and craft lovers, and you won’t find a stronger concentration of Kentucky artists under one roof than at Kentucky Crafted: The Market,” said Lori Meadows, arts council executive director.
“We encourage everyone to take advantage of this secure method of buying tickets,” added Meadows.
The Market will be open to the public 9 a.m.-7 p.m. March 5 and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. March 6. General admission is $10 for a one-day ticket and $15 for both days. Children 15 years of age and under are admitted free with a paying adult. Kentucky artists who exhibit at The Market are all juried participants in the arts council’s Kentucky Crafted Program. In addition, select artists from other states are invited to exhibit at the show.
The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, fosters environments for Kentuckians to value, participate in and benefit from the arts.
Kentucky Arts Council funding is provided by the Kentucky General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts. The arts council, along with the NEA, is celebrating 50 years of service in 2015, which the arts council is recognizing as the Year of the Arts in Kentucky.
