DOVES of Gateway and the Gateway Homeless Coalition are partnering next month on a benefit for homeless and battered persons in the region. It’s a pig roast and auction and is scheduled for October 15th at the Carl Perkins Center in Morehead.

Tickets for the benefit are ten-dollars for adults and five dollars for children. DOVES offers a 28-bed shelter for the victims of domestic violence in the Gateway area and the Homeless Coalition operates a 22-bed transitional housing facility in Morehead.
