A reception to celebrate the publication of the 65th annual “Inscape,” Morehead State’s annual literary and visual arts journal, is scheduled for tonight at 6:30 p.m.

“Inscape” features the work of current MSU students in the areas of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and visual arts. The works of 33 students are featured in this year’s edition. The reception will include readings of select works from “Inscape” contributors, the announcement of the cover art, interior art, and literary award winners, and this year’s edition will be officially unveiled to the public.

Lisa Mesa-Gaido is a professor of art at MSU and “Inscape” faculty advisor, she says all who attend the reception will receive a hard copy of the journal.

The journal will also be available online after the reception.  The reception will take place in room 111 of the Claypool-Young Art Building.
