During the Governor Andy Beshear’s 5PM press conference Sunday evening (March 22) issuing Executive Order; that all non-essential retail to close by 8PM on Monday March 23, 2020 to further limit the spread of the virus.

Below is a breakdown of the businesses by category outlined in the Executive Order;

Yes – Remain Open

No – Close by 8PM March 23, 2020 to in person shopping.

Furniture and Home Furnishings - No

Electronics and Appliance Stores - No

The Morehead-Rowan County Chamber of Commerce has joined the Blueprint Partnership program at Shaping Our Appalachian Region, Inc. (SOAR).

By joining the Blueprint Partnership program, the Morehead-Rowan County Chamber of Commerce has formally committed towards implementing SOAR’s Regional Blueprint to build a 21st Century Appalachia.

Morehead State University’s Center for Regional Engagement, Morehead Small Business Development Center and the Morehead-Rowan County Chamber of Commerce will present 12th Annual Regional Entrepreneur Conference.

The event will be held Thursday, Sept. 5, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Morehead Conference Center.

Registration is $15 per person and includes lunch. 

The Regional Entrepreneur Conference is a one-day event for the small business owner and entrepreneur providing professional development and encouraging economic growth.
