UK’s latest construction project is going up at the site of the old Kennedy Bookstore. It’s at the corner of South Lime and Avenue of Champions. UK President Eli Capilouto says it's an example of the collaboration between the university and the city of Lexington to create a top-notch campus.
The Winslow Project will have 23,000 square feet of retail and innovation space on the ground floor that will include a food hall, craft beer and a gaming center. It will also add something that staff and students have been asking for for years, 900 more parking spaces.
