Turnovers Hamper Football Eagles in Road Setback at Murray State

MSU Athletics

The Morehead State football team fell 59-7 to Murray State on the road Saturday night.

The Eagles slipped to 2-2, while Murray State evened its mark to the same record. It was the first meeting between the two former Ohio Valley Conference rivals since 1995.

A quintet of turnovers hampered the Eagles' offensive efforts as they weren't able to collect any defensive turnovers either.

The Eagles are now off next weekend before returning to action at home to open Pioneer Football League play against Davidson on Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. ET.
