TRAFFIC ALERT: I-64 West blocked in Bath County; detour via US 60

Travelers using I-64 westbound from the Ashland-Grayson-Morehead areas, be prepared for a detour this afternoon at Owingsville

A serious crash has I-64 West blocked at the 120 mile marker. All traffic is being detoured at Exit 123 or Exit 121 to US 60 West through downtown Owingsville to Mount Sterling. This will be in effect for several more hours, possibly through the evening commute.

Motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays along the detour route, or seek alternate routes to destinations west of Owingsville.
