Traffic Advisory: KY 32 paving west of Morehead this week

Kentucky Department of Highways District 9 reports:

Motorists should expect traffic impacts on KY 32 in Rowan County from Park Hills Drive to Guardian Drive west of Morehead as contractors resurface the highway.

Work is under way now, with milling and paving operations beginning Wednesday, June 12, between Park Hills and Guardian drives (milepoints 2.2 to 4.0). Paving will take place through Friday this week, depending on weather, with paint-striping and other finish work next week.

Motorists should expect one-lane, flagged traffic during daytime work hours of approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. Delays are likely, especially during rush hour. Seek alternate routes if possible.
