The Kentucky Department of Highways will temporarily close part of KY 1013 (Watson Road) in Fleming County to all through traffic next week for paving operations.
Beginning Monday, Aug. 17, contractors will resurface four miles of KY 1013 between the KY 158 intersection near Hillsboro and Evans Hollow Road (milepoints 0-3.4).
Work will take place Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 17-19, from about 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. The road will be closed to through traffic during work hours as contractors will be paving the entire width of the roadway. Local traffic will be able to access locations up to where crews are working, but all through traffic between Hillsboro and Plummers Landing should detour.
Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow-down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
