TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Expect Long Delays Leading Up to Burning Fork Road Intersection in Salyersville

WYMT

This Wednesday, May 15, and Thursday, May 16, drivers should expect long delays on Burning Fork Road (also known as KY 1888) leading up to the intersection with the Mountain Parkway and KY 1415 in Salyersville.

Crews will be working in traffic to open the new Burning Fork roadway leading up to the intersection. After the new roadway is open to traffic, the Burning Fork Road approach will intersect the Parkway at the new traffic signal opposite KY 1415 moving forward.

Drivers on Burning Fork Road are encouraged to take Burning Fork Road East to KY 114 on Wednesday and Thursday instead, to avoid these scheduled delays, and to help reduce traffic for crews working in and around the roadway.

Delays at the intersection of Burning Fork Road and KY 1415 will last throughout the day. Traffic on the Parkway will remain unaffected by these changes.
