Senior middle blocker Maddie Fella paced the Eagles' block, deterring six total shots. Redshirt senior middle blocker Jessie Wachtman, senior right-side hitter Jordan Jones, and sophomore outside hitter Lauren Rokey added four blocks apiece while redshirt sophomore setter Chandler Clark added one. Additionally, the team's 13 blocks helped hold the Golden Eagles to a .076 hitting efficiency, the eighth such time Morehead State has held its opponent under a .100 hitting percentage this season.

Morehead State's back row also posted a stellar performance, scooping up 68 (17 per set) balls on the night. The total marks the ninth time the Eagles have recorded 60 or more digs in a match. For the second time in the past three matches, freshman defensive specialist Olivia Montelisciani led the back line, racking up a career-high 15 digs. Clark (12) and freshman libero Allison Whitten (11) each posted double-figure digs for Morehead State.

Clark, in addition to her 12 digs, added 40 assists on the evening, averaging 10 helpers per set. Her double-double marks the tenth-straight week in which Clark has recorded a double-double, totaling 11 on the season.

Offensively, Clark's 40 assists helped the Eagles to a .249 hitting efficiency and 49 total kills. Sophomore outside hitter Olivia Lohmeier paced all Eagles with 14 terminations, recording double-digit kills for the fifth-straight match. Rokey added 13 kills, hitting a career-best .370 from the outside. Jones added 10 kills for Morehead State, giving the team three players in double-figures.

Morehead State returns to action tomorrow afternoon, facing the Ohio Valley Conference's southernmost member. The Eagles and Jacksonville State will face off at 3 p.m. ET from Kennamer Gym in Jacksonville, Ala.
