A Storybook Christmas Provides New Books to Children

Kaplan Early Learning

The Advisory Council for Adult Education and A Storybook Christmas seeks new books for children.

Through the MSU Adult Learning Center, this is the 31st year of collecting books to give to the disadvantaged children (ages newborn to 18 years old) in Rowan County.

Over the years we have been able to provide over 13,000 books to children in our community and we hope to be able to continue for many years to come.

New books can be left in decorated boxes at various drop-off sites around the community throughout the month of November.

New, unwrapped books may be donated weekdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at WMKY’s studios located at Morehead State Public Radio, 132 Breckinridge Hall at Morehead State University.

Books may also be left at various other locations throughout Morehead and Rowan County through November 30th.

Tax-deductible monetary donations can be made to MSU Foundation-Storybook Christmas and mailed to: MSU Adult Learning Center, 627 E Main Street, 103 Education Services Building, Morehead, KY  40351.

The deadline for monetary donations is November 22, 2019.

For more information, contact the Adult Learning Center at 783-2871.
