St. Claire HealthCare message on coronavirus

St. Claire HealthCare

We understand there is a lot of uncertainty regarding the coronavirus and what your risk may be.

Our coronavirus task force is diligently monitoring virus activity and is in continuous contact with local, state, and national agencies as necessary.

At this time, we believe the risk of contracting the virus in our community is low.

To protect the health and safety of our patients, St. Claire HealthCare has implemented a mandatory screening process for all patients registering for care in all of our locations. Patients should not avoid or postpone medical treatment because of concerns over the coronavirus.

We encourage everyone to take steps to protect themselves from illness. The best way to protect yourself is by avoiding contact with people who are sick and practicing good hand hygiene. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

If you believe you may have symptoms of coronavirus, stay home to reduce the spread of the illness. Most people only experience mild symptoms and are able to isolate at home without medical care. If your illness gets worse, seek prompt medical attention. Prior to arriving at your healthcare provider’s office, please call ahead and tell them you have, or may have, coronavirus so they can take steps to keep other people from being exposed to the virus.
