Slide temporarily closes KY 1274 in Menifee County

WKOK

A rockfall has temporarily closed KY 1274 in Menifee County about a mile and a half from the Rowan County line. Kentucky Department of Highways crews are working to remove the debris.

The road is expected to reopen once debris has been cleared, likely later today or tonight. Until then, all thru traffic on KY 1274 should detour using KY 801, US 60, and KY 211 and KY 36 through Farmers and Salt Lick.
