Officials with the Rowan County School System are preparing for kindergarten registration next week.
The two week event will be held in a very different way than previous years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Carol Blair is the Director of Pupil Personnel for the district. She says right now the plan is for parents to remain in their vehicles for a scheduled appointment.
All parents must call (606) 784-8928 to make an appointment to register. Children must be 5 years old by August 1st in order to register.
