Progress is becoming more visible on the City of Morehead’s new Police and 911 Center.
The ribbon cutting for the project was held in the final days of last year, and has seen some delays due to significant weather events during the first half of 2021. But with caissons now in place and walls going up, the project is beginning to move into more critical phases.
David Rhodes is the Vice President of development company Packs + Walker. He gave an update during the regular July meeting of Morehead City Council.
Rhodes says the project has been around six weeks behind for a few months, with intermittent rain leaving little room to catch up.
