MSU to Participate in Online ‘Transfer Madness’

Help is on the way for Kentucky college students interested in transferring their credits or associate degree to a four-year university. On Thursday, March 26, from 2 to 8 p.m., the state’s colleges and universities will host “Transfer Madness,” an entirely online, statewide transfer fair where students can chat with transfer advisors, search for scholarships, download materials and get questions answered.

Morehead State University will participate in the online transfer fair and will be waiving application fees.

“We are always interested in seeking out new channels to reach transfer students and I feel that this is a wonderful initiative. We hope that Transfer Madness will provide us with yet another avenue to showcase the great opportunities that we have available for transfer students here at Morehead State.” said Jen Timmermann, transfer senior enrollment services counselor.

Students can register early for Transfer Madness at www.transfermadness.org.

Organizers hope the convenience of an online transfer fair will boost student participation since students can access the event from the comfort of their home and at a time that suits their family and work schedules.

To register for the event and prizes, and to view the list of participating colleges, universities and education partners, go to www.transfermadness.org.

Additional information is available by contacting Timmermann at 606-783-5488 or email j.timmermann@moreheadstate.edu.
