MSU closed on Labor Day

Morehead State University

In observance of the Labor Day holiday, Morehead State University will be closed Monday, Sept. 3.

There will be no classes or office hours and mail will not be delivered.

The Recreation and Wellness Center will be open on the following schedule:

Facility

Saturday, Sept. 1: 9 a.m.-8 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 2: 2 p.m.-10 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 3: 2 p.m.-10 p.m.

Pool

Saturday, Sept. 1: 10 a.m.-noon

Sunday, Sept. 2: 4 p.m.-8 p.m.

Monday, Sept 3: 4 p.m.-8 p.m.

Outdoor Adventures

Saturday, Sept. 1: 10 a.m.- noon

Sunday, Sept. 2: 4 p.m.- 8 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 3: 4 p.m.- 8 p.m.

No group fitness classes on Monday, Sept. 3.

Camden-Carroll Library Labor Day weekend schedule:

Saturday, Sept. 1: Closed

Sunday, Sept. 2: 1 p.m.- 9 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 3: Closed

Offices will reopen and classes will resume on regular schedule at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

The MSU Police Department will be available at 606-783-2035 to answer questions and address campus concerns.

Paul Hitchcock earned his Masters in Communications from Morehead State University and Bachelors in Radio-TV/Psychology from Georgetown College. A veteran broadcaster for more than 40 years and an avid fan of blues, jazz and American roots music. Hitchcock has been with WMKY since 1986 and was named General Manager in 2003. He currently hosts "Muddy Bottom Blues" (Fri., 8pm-9pm), "Nothin' But The Blues" (Sat., 8pm-12am), "Sunday Night Jazz Showcase" and "Live From The Jazz Lounge" (Sun., 8pm-9pm) and "The Golden Age of Radio" (Sun., 2pm-3pm). He also serves as producer for "A Time For Tales" and "The Reader's Notebook."
