Matching Challenges now accepted for MSPR's Spring Fundraiser

Illinois Family Action

Morehead State Public Radio's (WMKY at 90.3FM) Spring Fundraiser and Membership Drive begins this Saturday, March 30.

WMKY relies on financial gifts from our listeners to provide funding for student work-studies, local programming and daily operations.

Gifts we receive during the fundraiser sustains WMKY's (90.3FM) operations for another six months and every dollar is used to provide regional news, music and community outreach.

A valuable tool in helping to meet our goals is a financial gift in the form of a Matching Challenge. Any business, individual or community organization can issue a challenge. The challenge is used to encourage listeners to match the challenge and essentially, help us "double our money." Challenges are the same as making a gift to WMKY and are tax deductible. Challenges also count as a member of Morehead State Public Radio.

Consider making a pledge on behalf of yourself, your business or community organization. You choose the amount, day and time of your challenge. Challenges are now being scheduled for MSPR's Spring Fundraiser, Saturday March 30 through FRiday, April 5.

Contact Paul Hitchcock, MSPR General Manager, at 606-783-2334 or by e-mail at p.hitchc@moreheadstate.edu for more information.
