WMKY will share a series of concerts featuring the Lexington Chamber Orchestra and 91.3 FM, WUKY.
Fridays at 10 AM beginning September 18th.
Due to the worldwide pandemic of Covid-19, the Lexington Chamber Orchestra will not be offering any live performances for audiences in Central Kentucky for the time being. However, WMKY will re-broadcast several fan-favorite performances to bring concerts right into your home—complete with musical commentary from Maestro Jan Pellant, who is an MFA candidate at the University of Kentucky. Audio provided by 91.3 FM, WUKY.
Tom Godell, WUKY’s Station Manager said, “The Lexington Chamber Orchestra is one of the jewels of the Central Kentucky music scene, and we are proud to bring their delightful concerts under maestro Jan Pellant to listeners at a time when live concerts are otherwise unavailable.”
