KY 182 In Carter County To Be Closed For Repairs

The Kentucky Department of Highways will close part of KY 182 (Grahn Road) in Carter County for embankment repairs during the day on Monday and Tuesday, September 16-17.

Work will take place on KY 182 between US 60 and Goose Creek Road, with KY 182 closed at the work site from 8a.m. to 5p.m. each day to accommodate equipment for T-rail installation.

The closure is not expected to affect school bus traffic. Motorists should detour using KY 3298 or local routes to reach Grahn Road and other destinations.

Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs and flaggers, drive carefully in work zones, and remain aware of workers and construction equipment at all times.
