Kentucky Crafted - The Market Adds New Artists

Copious Notes

Among the more than 200 artists who are exhibiting at Kentucky Crafted: The Market March 7-8 at Lexington Convention Center are 14 Kentucky Crafted program artists who are new to the show.

The Market is the largest gathering of Kentucky artists under one roof and is the Kentucky Arts Council's signature event for artists in the Kentucky Crafted program to display and sell their work to a broad base of consumers and wholesale buyers.

"We strive to provide a variety of art and artists that are representative of Kentucky at The Market," said Lori Meadows, arts council executive director.

"That's really the beauty of the Kentucky Crafted program. It gives us a corps of talent from across the state, across the artistic disciplines, to show Market guests the best of what Kentucky has to offer in art and craft, and we're happy to welcome this group of 14 artists to The Market,” added Meadows.
