Jade Flory Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

MSU Athletics

Morehead State soccer student-athlete Jade Flory has been named to the Capital One College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All District II Team.

Flory, who has earned a 3.66 cumulative grade point average in business administration, was named to the first-team. With her selection, she is now eligible for Academic All-America consideration and will be placed on the national ballot. She was one of only four Ohio Valley Conference soccer athletes named to an all-district team.

"This is a wonderful honor for Jade and our program," Head Coach Warren Lipka said. "Jade works hard on and off the field, and I am glad she has been recognized."

Flory has 26 goals in 41 career matches at MSU. She leads the team with 12 goals and seven assists this year and ranks third in career goals and points at Morehead State. Flory has notched OVC Player of the Week accolades seven times in her two-year career.

The CoSIDA Academic All-America program is a prestigious honor to earn. Student-athletes, who must have at least a 3.3 GPA and be a starter or important reserve to be eligible, are nominated by and voted on by members of CoSIDA.
