Officials in Morehead Say a natural gas smell poses no threats to residents.
People who live near Triplett creek began to notice a natural gas smell as flood waters rose in Rowan County Sunday.
Rowan County Emergency Management Director Ronnie Day says flooding infiltrated a tank in town.
Day says while the smell may cause some people to feel sick, there is no risk of fire or poisoning.
