The family of the 9-year-old Morehead boy who died after being swept away by floodwaters has announced funeral arrangements.
Bryce Combs will be laid to rest at 11 a.m. on Friday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel. Visitation will take place from 3-9 p.m. Thursday.
Combs was found Sunday after a week-long search. The coroner's office confirmed on Sunday his remains were found in Triplett Creek nearly two miles from where he first entered the water.
Hundreds of volunteers, over a dozen fire departments, multiple rescue crews, dogs, and mounted riders joined in the search after Combs went missing.
