While there hasn’t been in-person learning for many weeks, teachers and staff at McBrayer Elementary in Morehead are hoping to make the holidays feel a little more normal for their students.
A drive-thru holiday display is planned at the school for this coming Thursday called Navigator North Pole. The display will feature seasonal decorations and music from the staff as they greet students and their families.
Casey Hall is a guidance counselor at McBrayer Elementary. She says the event serves as a way for those with the school to see their students and give them a placeholder for festivities that would normally be taking place during a regular year.
Navigator North Pole will take place this Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McBrayer Elementary.
