A local non-profit domestic violence shelter will open up their next fundraiser soon.
Doves of Gateway has served the area for over 30 years now. The organization is holding their online auction next week as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Money raised will help the shelter continue to provide services including case management, financial planning and parenting classes.
Kelli Petronella is the shelter’s Executive Director. She says there will be a lot to choose from once bidding begins.
Aside from the auction, Petronella says Doves of Gateway is happy to accept donations year-round.
The Bidding for Hope Online Auction will get underway Monday at 9:00a.m. Final bids must be submitted by Thursday at 7:00p.m. For more information on the auction, as well as resources and services, click here.
