Rowan County Community Fund Board of Advisors announced the creation of the Morehead-Rowan County COVID-19 Response Fund this week.
The charitable fund will provide grants to nonprofit organizations in Rowan County with strong experience delivering services related to food, healthcare, childcare, transportation and the elderly.
Community Fund Board Chair Ryan Neff says the Community Fund is an endowment, limiting the amount of grant money that can be awarded.
