Bryan Savage

Sunday Night Jazz Showcase

Program #139 (October 23 at 8:00PM)

After years of studio work in Los Angeles playing sax and flute on over 20 major label releases for such artists as Al Stewart, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Amazing Rhythm Aces, Steve Martin and others, Bryan Savage is now building a strong following across the country as a solo artist on the National Smooth Jazz radio charts, as well as doing solo performances featuring tunes from his 7 international CD releases plus other popular tunes.

Bryan has recorded with as well as toured internationally with such hit artists as Al Stewart, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Amazing Rhythm Aces, John McEuen, Starwood, and has shared the billing with Natalie Cole, Bonnie Raitt, Mick Fleetwood, Gary Burton, Rick Braun, Peter White, Chuck Mangione, and many others.

Additional credits include a gold record for his sax work on the number one-selling Steve Martin hit single "King Tut" as well as national TV appearances with Al Stewart on Solid Gold, The Midnight Special, and with Starwood on the Merv Griffin Show.

In the 90's, Bryan recorded his first nationally released solo CD, self-titled "Bryan Savage", followed by three more successful national releases under his name on the Elation Artists label, including the aforementioned #1 charting "CatFood", produced by trumpet star Rick Braun.

Later, Bryan signed with major label Virgin Record's Higher Octave Music, and went on to enjoy his greatest success to date with the release of his CD "Soul Temptation", which he co-produced with Rick Braun, William Aura and 3rd Force. "Soul Temptation" became another hit for Bryan on Smooth Jazz Radio, charting in the top 5 on smooth jazz radio in the U.S., while also receiving extensive international airplay.

Bryan is currently performing around the country promoting his latest Cd releases, along with playing various events and concerts in the U.S. and in the resort areas of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
