After leading Morehead State volleyball to pair of OVC wins over Murray State this past weekend, sophomore setter Bridget Bessler has again been named the league's Setter of the Week.
For Bessler, it marked her second weekly honor this fall and the ninth of her career.
Bessler averaged 11.6 assists per set in the two wins and had her third consecutive double-double (47 assists, 11 digs) in Friday's three-set victory. She also had 46 assists and seven digs in Saturday's five-set triumph. Bessler helped the Eagle offense generate a .273 attack percentage against the Racers.
She ranks fourth in the league with 403 helpers (9.83 per set) and now has 1,524 career assists to rank eighth in program history.
Bessler and the Eagles travel to Tennessee Tech Wednesday night.
