April Fools Show

Health Matters Radio Show

Health Matters Radio Show

In this instance, April fools refers to the cast, not the material. We discussed the disadvantages of foam soap, a section on the pros and cons of the PPACA a.k.a. ACA a.k.a. Obama Care, since it is the only system left to discuss. Then an uncomfortable section on the desperation of healthcare providers worldwide: the Mayo Clinic prioritizing higher paying customers, European groups contesting Gilead’s patent on their overpriced hepatitis C medications that will deny millions of patients life sustaining care, and the tripling of out-of-pocket expenses for epi-pens to treat allergies. Then, an amusing finish and everything is okay!

Tip: When buying gear for your baby, remember the 4R’s – do the research, check for recalls, register the product, and read the owners manual.
