Election day is next November 8, but early voting ends Wednesday in Rowan County.
Officials are expecting a large voter turnout for the mid-term election, due in part to the constitutional amendments on the ballot.
Rowan County Clerk Elwood Caudill Jr says no excuse early voting will be held at the Carl Perkins center.
Early voting is being held in the clerk’s office from 8 am to 4 p.m., but the resident must have a valid early voting excuse. Voting on November 8 begins at 6 am. The polls close at 6 p.m.
