Antiracist Program planned for Students & Staff

The Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning at Morehead State University will be sponsoring an ongoing book reading and discussion this semester.

The book chosen is “How to Be an Antiracist” by American author and historian Ibram X. Kendi.

Some faculty took part in discussions about the book over the summer and the program is being repeated for students and faculty this fall.

Doctor Monica Himes is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at the University and participated in the summer book talk. She says the program planned for the fall will be similar, but stretched over 12 weeks to be more accessible.

The program starts September 13 and meets on Fridays for online discussion.
