The US Small Business Administration has provided a list of resources for businesses being hit by covid-19, and now small businesses across the Commonwealth are looking at their options during the coronavirus pandemic.
Jason Slone, Director of the Morehead Rowan County Chamber Of Commerce, says the state’s hospitality and tourism sector has been hit hard by the economic effects of the virus.
Slone also says there are concerns about how long the business closures and changes across the state and country will continue, but steps are being taken on multiple levels.
The SBA will also be working directly with state governors to provide targeted, low-interest loans to businesses and non-profits that have been severely impacted by covid-19 with the economic injury disaster loan program.
