https://msueagles.com/

The Eagles fought to the end but couldn't overcome South Florida, falling to the Bulls in their season opener, 87-40.

Morehead State shot over 50 percent from the floor in the fourth quarter, good for 23 points, and were led by senior Veronica Charles, who finished with nine points. The Eagles also saw nearly half of their points come off the bench, with Hallie Rhodes leading the charge with seven points in her first collegiate game.

Next up, the Eagles head to in-state SEC foe Kentucky on Friday. Tip-off is slated for 6:00 PM ET.
