"Design the Future: A week long immersive design thinking summer program for 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders at the University of Louisville. During this intensive program, students will work to design solutions to real problems faced by individuals with physical and sensory disabilities. You: A passionate individual living with a physical disability interested in working with high school students to build solutions to build solutions to a problem you experience on a daily basis. Interested in helping convey the value of including the user experience in the creation of a product of service. Partners will need to meet with students at the Design the Future location on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday during the program and will need to be available for 20 minute scheduled daily check-ins the other days of the week to give students feedback on their progress.
