Sheriff Carter Retiring

For over 37 years Jack Carter has served the citizens of Rowan County as sheriff. MSPR's Joshua Grandison spoke with him about retirement and his nine terms of service to the community. 

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, one in six children in the United States has one or more developmental disabilities.

Recently, a group of care workers and community leaders organized a proclamation to raise the level of disability awareness in the community.
