Morehead State Public Radio (MSPR) has announced three new members to its Community Advisory Board (CAB).
Joining the nine member volunteer board are Courtney Howell, Daniel Mason and April Hobbs Nutter. Their appointment is a three-year term expiring in 2022.
Other current CAB members include Collin Alexander, Jeremy Boone, Carol Campbell, Doug Chatham, Shayla Ring and Jeanette Tesmer.
Courtney Howell is a creative content coordinator at Addiction Recovery Care headquartered in Louisa. She graduated from Morehead State University in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in convergent media. She also serves on the Action Committee for RISEabove, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for the betterment of a community.
Daniel Mason is a staff attorney with Legal Aid of the Bluegrass, formerly known as Northeast Kentucky Legal Services, where he has worked since 1983. He is also the board chair of the Gateway Homeless Coalition. He enjoys helping others in the community, attending concerts and playing guitar.
April Hobbs Nutter is the digital and web marketing director at Morehead State University and a lecturer in sociology. She is a two-time MSU graduate with a bachelor’s degree in social sciences and a master’s degree in sociology. She has more than 20 years of experience in communication and marketing. She also serves on the MSU Gender Studies Leadership Team and the Accessibility Taskforce.
CAB meetings are held quarterly at MSPR’s studios and are open to the public. The next meeting is scheduled for 6:00p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2020.
