Morehead State University

Morehead State Public Radio has named Mihaela Maynard as the new host for Sin Fronteras.

Presented in both Spanish and English, Sin Fronteras brings cultures together to educate, inform and entertain.

Broadcast on the third Friday of each month on WMKY (90.3FM), the next program of Sin Fronteras can be heard at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20.

Through music and conversation, Sin Fronteras explores the Hispanic culture, history and its people.

“We should embrace opportunities to learn from other cultures,” said Paul Hitchcock, MSPR general manager.

Maynard, a native of Romania, draws on a passion for foreign languages and cultures. Maynard holds a B.A. degree in French and Spanish from Morehead State University, and a M.A. degree in Spanish from the University of Louisville.

“My passion is learning new cultures and I’m grateful for this opportunity to share my love for languages,” said Maynard.
